Advantest Corporation ("Advantest") is committed to respecting your privacy. Advantest acknowledges that any information that may be used to identify you as an individual ("Personal Data") such as your first and last name, street address, e-mail address, or telephone number is your private information and our intention is to collect, use, store, or otherwise process this information appropriately and lawfully.

This website is an eBusiness platform (hereinafter “myAdvantest”) on which Advantest provides access to Advantest online content and online services (hereinafter “eBusiness Services”), including web-based sales and delivery of Advantest products and/or services.

  3. For troubleshooting or to ensure the security of our website
  4. To enable access to and use of Advantest eBusiness Services, including web-based sales and delivery of Advantest products and/or services
  5. Complying with Advantest’s legal or regulatory obligations, especially for trade compliance checks
  6. To contact you regarding your account, to solve issues with your account or to resolve questions or dispute
  7. To ensure the accuracy of the data and to verify these

We process your data pursuant Article 6 para 1 lit. b GDPR. We also use your Personal Data to pursue our legitimate interests where your rights and freedoms do not outweigh these interests pursuant to Article 6 para 1 lit. f GDPR.

When you click “Register” we additionally collect your IP address and the date and time of submission. This helps us to prevent misuse of the registration form and to ensure the security of our information technology systems. IP address and the date and time of submission will be deleted after a period of thirty days at the latest.

C. Joint Responsibility of Personal Data by Advantest and its Affiliated Companies

Advantest and its affiliated companies are jointly responsible for Personal Data under B.2. i.-iv., ix. and x. above, if the data is processed for the purpose of web-based sales and delivery of Advantest products and/or services. You can find Advantest affiliated companies here.

Advantest and its affiliated companies in the European Union are jointly responsible for Personal Data processed by European affiliates when selling and delivering products and/or services via myAdvantest. Therefore, Advantest and its European affiliates have concluded joint controller agreements in accordance with Article 26 GDPR. The agreement specifies the responsibilities for data protection among the Advantest companies and does not contain provisions to the detriment of the data subject. You may enforce your rights under the GDPR against both Advantest and its European affiliate from which you have purchased products and/or services.

D. MyAdvantest eBusiness Service Applications

MyAdvantest eBusiness Services are enabled through Advantest or third-party applications (hereinafter “eBusiness Service Applications”). MyAdvantest eBusiness Service Applications may process Personal Data in addition to data under Section B.2. above. E. Storage of Personal Data

MyAdvantest as well as its eBusiness Service Applications will store your Personal Data for as long as it is necessary to fulfill a specific purpose for which they were collected. Once this primary purpose is fulfilled, we store the required Personal Data for the duration of the statutory retention periods. Subsequently, we delete or anonymize Personal Data.
